The front door to Kaitiaki. Routes an animal question to the right kind of care — companion vet, farm, equine, exotic, doggy daycare, welfare triage, wildlife rehab or Threatened Species Recovery. Every reply is a draft for a registered vet, welfare officer, licensed operator or named kaitiaki reviewer to sign.
What it does
- Hears the request in plain English and routes it to the right specialist — asking one clarifying question only if it is genuinely ambiguous.
- Runs the bundle hard-rule checks on the way back: NZVA Code, Animal Welfare Act 1999, MPI notifiable-disease, DOC notification, council + vaccination cross-checks.
- Attaches a kaitiaki-review flag to any taonga species so the output cannot ship without a named human reviewer.
